HelloGrowthCRM marketing CRM for the Philippines — segmented WhatsApp broadcasts and email sequences

Quick answer

Is HelloGrowthCRM right for SMS & WhatsApp Marketing CRM Philippines?

Yes. HelloGrowthCRM gives SMS & WhatsApp Marketing CRM Philippines a single system to capture every lead, automate follow-up across phone, WhatsApp, and email, prioritise leads with AI scoring, and forecast revenue — with calling and messaging built in instead of sold as add-ons.
  • Segmented broadcasts, not blasts: message only the contacts who match a stage, source, city or purchase history, so the list stays worth reading
  • WhatsApp Business API as the primary channel: two-way threads, delivery visibility and a shared team inbox rather than one-way sends into the void
  • Email sequences in the same pipeline: multi-step email follow-ups run alongside messaging, so a lead who never replies on chat still gets a nudge

01

What we ship, and what we do not

If you searched for bulk SMS in the Philippines, read this section before anything else. HelloGrowthCRM is WhatsApp-first. The natively supported outbound channels are WhatsApp Business API and email. Native SMS sending through a Philippine telco aggregator is not built in, and outbound Viber broadcasting is not supported either.

That matters because a lot of software in this category is sold as though every channel is one checkbox away. If transactional SMS through a local aggregator is a hard requirement for your business, you would be connecting an external SMS provider through the API or an automation tool, and you should confirm the details with us before committing rather than discovering the gap after migrating. What follows is about the part we do handle: turning a contact list into a follow-up system that actually gets replies.

02

Why bulk sending stopped working

The economics of broadcast messaging used to be simple: send to everyone, a small percentage responds, repeat. That model has degraded almost everywhere, and the reason is behavioural rather than technical. Recipients learned to ignore messages from businesses that message them about everything. Once a contact has classified you as noise, the next message costs you nothing to send and earns you nothing either.

Segmentation reverses that. A message sent to the two hundred contacts who enquired about a specific product in the last quarter is a different object from the same message sent to four thousand people. It is relevant, so it gets read, so the sender stays worth listening to. This is the single largest change most Philippine SMBs can make to their messaging, and it costs nothing except being willing to send fewer messages to fewer people.

03

SMS, WhatsApp and Viber for Philippine audiences

Each channel has a job. SMS reaches any handset with no app and no data connection, which keeps it genuinely useful for time-critical transactional alerts, delivery notifications and reaching customers in areas with patchy data. It is one-way in practice, character-limited, and it carries no conversation history.

WhatsApp gives you the opposite: a threaded two-way conversation, media, full history and a shared inbox your team can work from together. That is what sales follow-up actually needs, because a sales conversation is a conversation. Viber has a large installed base in the Philippines and is a reasonable channel in principle, but outbound Viber is not something HelloGrowthCRM supports, so treat it as outside scope here. A common split is transactional alerts over SMS via a telco aggregator, sales and service conversations over WhatsApp. The WhatsApp CRM for the Philippines page goes deeper on the WhatsApp side.

04

Consent, opt-outs and the Data Privacy Act

The Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012, Republic Act 10173, and the National Privacy Commission implementing rules require a lawful basis for processing personal data and a clear notice of what you will do with it. For marketing messages this comes down to four practical habits: state what you will send at the point you collect the number, record when consent was given, make opting out easy, and act on opt-outs promptly.

HelloGrowthCRM handles the operational half of that. Consent timestamps are logged per contact, opt-outs are recorded and applied so future broadcasts skip that contact automatically, and contact data can be exported or deleted on request. The half that stays with you is the wording of your capture forms and privacy notice, and checking whether your data volumes trigger NPC registration or Data Protection Officer obligations. A CRM makes compliance operationally easier; it does not make you compliant on its own.

05

Building a follow-up system rather than a send button

The useful reframe is that broadcasts are not the product. A contact who replies to a broadcast needs to become a conversation, that conversation needs an owner, and that owner needs a next step with a date on it. Otherwise you have generated interest and then dropped it, which is worse than not sending. This is why messaging belongs in the CRM rather than in a separate blast tool: the reply lands on the contact record with the whole history behind it.

A workable starting setup is small. One capture form with clear consent wording. One instant acknowledgement when someone messages your business number. One follow-up sequence over roughly a week for leads who go quiet. One monthly segmented broadcast rather than a weekly general one. Add rules only once those are running reliably. Retail shops building a customer list will also want the retail customer CRM page, and current plan limits are on the pricing page.

What you get

Why teams choose HelloGrowthCRM

AI-powered CRM with the features you need to close more deals.

  • Consent captured at the point of entry: web forms and capture widgets log what the contact agreed to and when, so the record exists before you send anything
  • Automatic opt-out processing: when someone asks to stop, the opt-out is recorded and every future broadcast skips them without anyone remembering to remove them
  • Follow-up sequences on a schedule: a day one, day three, day seven cadence that runs on its own rather than depending on someone having a free afternoon
  • Replies land in the pipeline: an answer to a broadcast becomes a conversation attached to the contact record, not an orphan message on someone's phone
  • Template management: reusable message templates so every rep says the same thing, with the personalisation fields filled from the contact record
  • Delivery and reply reporting: how many were sent, how many replied, and which segments respond, per broadcast
  • One contact history across channels: chat, email and call notes sit on the same record, so nobody re-asks a question the customer already answered
