Four reasons sales teams choose HelloGrowthCRM over AiSensy.
AiSensy organises contacts by campaign and tag. HelloGrowthCRM gives every lead a stage, an owner and a dated next action, so nothing sits unanswered for a week.
Indian buyers still pick up the phone. HelloGrowthCRM includes an auto-dialer with call recording and AI call summaries, so calls and WhatsApp threads share one lead record.
AiSensy publishes its own per-message rates, such as ₹1.09 for a marketing message. HelloGrowthCRM adds nothing on top of Meta's own WhatsApp conversation charges.
The quote builder and GST invoicing sit next to the pipeline. A won deal becomes a compliant invoice without exporting anything into a separate accounting package.

Export your contacts from AiSensy first. Open the Contacts page, click the Actions dropdown beside the Import button, and choose Export. AiSensy downloads a CSV file, and you can filter by campaign, tag, name or created date beforehand if you only want part of the list.
Export in slices if your list is large. Filter by tag or created date and run several exports rather than one enormous file, so you can check each batch and re-run a single slice if a column comes through blank.
Clean the CSV before importing. Keep numbers in E.164 format with the +91 prefix, split AiSensy tags and campaign names into columns you can map to HelloGrowthCRM lead sources and pipeline stages, and drop opted-out contacts rather than carrying them over.
Move in stages. Import contacts, set up your pipeline and let the team work new leads in HelloGrowthCRM while any scheduled AiSensy campaigns finish. Then migrate the WhatsApp number to the new provider in Meta Business Manager and stop the AiSensy renewal.
AiSensy is good at what it set out to do. It made the WhatsApp Business API affordable for Indian small businesses at a time when most providers were quoting enterprise numbers, and its flat pricing with no per-user cap changed what a twenty-person support team could afford. Broadcasts to very large lists, click-to-WhatsApp ad campaigns, template management, a chatbot builder available as an add-on. If your marketing plan is essentially a calendar of WhatsApp campaigns, that is a sensible product to be paying for. Nothing in this page argues that AiSensy is bad software. The question is narrower: which tool sits at the centre of your sales process, and which one sits beside it.
The limitation most teams hit is structural rather than a missing feature. A broadcast platform thinks in campaigns, tags and contact lists. A sales process thinks in stages, owners and next actions. Those two models look similar until a customer replies at eight in the evening asking about price. In a campaign tool that reply is a conversation in a shared inbox. In a CRM it is a lead at the quotation stage, assigned to a named rep, with a callback due tomorrow morning and a manager who can see it slipping. Tags can approximate this. They stop approximating it well somewhere around a few hundred open enquiries, which is roughly the point at which most owners start asking why revenue has flattened.
There is also the money, which splits into two separate lines that people tend to blur together. AiSensy's Basic plan is ₹1,500 a month plus GST and Pro is ₹3,200 plus GST, both without a user cap, and chatbot flows are a further add-on starting around ₹2,500 a month for five flows. On top of the subscription sit AiSensy's own published message rates, ₹1.09 for a marketing message to an Indian number and ₹0.145 for utility or authentication. HelloGrowthCRM charges ₹899 per user per month and adds no platform markup beyond Meta's own conversation charges. Which is cheaper depends on your headcount and your marketing volume, and you should actually calculate it.
What changes on the other side is the amount of work the software does for you after the message is sent. A built-in auto-dialer with call recording means a telecaller works a scored list instead of scrolling a chat inbox, and AI call summaries mean a manager reads two lines instead of playing back an hour of audio. AI lead scoring pushes the enquiries most likely to convert to the top. Email sequences and SMS reach the people who never answer on WhatsApp. IndiaMART and JustDial leads flow straight in with web form submissions. The quote builder and GST invoicing close the loop, so a won deal becomes a compliant invoice in the same tool.
The clean way to decide is to ask where your revenue actually leaks. If you cannot get in front of enough people, spend your money on reach and keep AiSensy. If you are getting plenty of enquiries and losing them because nobody called back on time, no amount of extra broadcast volume fixes that, and a sales CRM with WhatsApp built in will. Some businesses genuinely need both, and running them side by side for a month or two is a perfectly respectable answer. Start with the free plan, import an AiSensy contact export, and give your team two weeks of real leads. The reps will tell you quickly whether it helps.
AiSensy is a solid WhatsApp campaign platform, and its flat unlimited-user pricing genuinely suits large inbox teams. Switch to HelloGrowthCRM when your leads are plentiful but follow-up is slow. You get calling, lead scoring, quotes and GST invoicing at ₹899 per user, with a free plan for testing first.
