What Runo gets right — and where its focus ends
Runo solved a real Indian problem with a genuinely smart design choice. Cloud-telephony calling costs per minute and shows customers unfamiliar numbers they often refuse; Runo's SIM-based approach lets reps call from real SIM numbers on their own phones while the system captures the activity. For operations whose entire workflow is dialling through lists — collections, verifications, high-volume outbound — that focus is a strength.
The limits appear when the calls are not the sale but a step in it. A coaching counsellor, a real-estate telecaller, an insurance adviser — their first call opens a relationship that runs through WhatsApp messages, a negotiation, a quote and a payment over weeks. Call management sees a series of dispositions. A sales CRM sees one deal with a value, a stage and a next step — and that difference in framing is what this page is about.
