How pharma sells from Singapore
Institutional procurement sets the rules
A large share of Singapore healthcare demand is bought by institutions through formal procurement, which means specifications, submission deadlines and evaluation panels rather than persuasion. A supplier who mismanages a deadline is not competing, however strong the relationship behind the bid may be.
A domestic market and a regional hub, at the same time
Many Singapore distributors also act as a regional base, supplying partners across neighbouring markets. That business runs on shipment cycles, documentation and partner ordering rhythm, and it has almost nothing in common with a local tender except the products moving through it.
