Ad sales is agreed on chat and billed on paper
A media sale has an unusual shape. The brief arrives from an agency planner, often as a WhatsApp message. The negotiation happens across chat and calls over several days, producing three or four versions of a media plan. Then a formal insertion order appears, sometimes matching what was agreed and sometimes not. After the campaign runs, an invoice goes out and waits, because media payment terms are long and collections are a job of their own.
Almost every part of that sits outside a normal sales tool. The negotiation is on a personal phone, the plan versions are in a folder, and the invoice ageing is with accounts, so no one person can see a deal end to end.
