What you get

Many Indian businesses use Zoho Books for accounting while their sales team works in HelloGrowthCRM. The integration keeps both systems in sync — customers, invoices, payments, and outstanding balances shared automatically without CSV exports or manual updates.

When a deal closes in HelloGrowthCRM, a Zoho Books customer record and draft invoice are created automatically. Finance reviews and approves the invoice in Zoho Books. Payment status — paid, partial, overdue — syncs back to the HelloGrowthCRM deal record so account managers always know the collections status.

For sales teams managing renewal conversations, seeing the payment history from Zoho Books in HelloGrowthCRM is critical. A customer 45 days overdue on an invoice should not receive an upsell call — they should receive a collections follow-up. The integration surfaces this context automatically.

The sync is bidirectional for customer records. New customers created in Zoho Books appear in HelloGrowthCRM as contacts. New contacts who become customers in HelloGrowthCRM sync to Zoho Books with their GST details verified via the GSTIN lookup integration.

For businesses using both Zoho CRM and HelloGrowthCRM, the Zoho Books integration in HelloGrowthCRM handles the accounting sync independently — you do not need Zoho CRM as an intermediary. HelloGrowthCRM connects directly to the Zoho Books API.

Automation workflows

Automation workflows you can build with Zoho Books and HelloGrowthCRM

Invoice-ready records from won deals

A deal closing won pushes the customer and invoice details to Zoho Books as a draft — GST-ready, correctly named, right amount. Finance reviews and sends instead of retyping, and the invoicing lag after closing disappears.

See payment status on the account

Invoice states — sent, paid, overdue — reflect on the CRM account timeline. Reps chasing renewals or upsells know the payment picture before they dial, and awkward surprises stop happening mid-call.

Collect through the relationship

Overdue invoices raise a task for the account owner, whose friendly nudge collects faster than a third dunning email. India's receivables problem is a relationship problem; route it to the person with the relationship.

One customer master, two systems

CRM accounts sync to Zoho Books customers with GSTIN and billing details mapped once. The books and the pipeline stop disagreeing about who the customer legally is.

In practice

How Indian businesses run Zoho Books with the CRM

Services firm closing the invoice gap

A consulting firm's won deals now generate draft invoices the same day. Days-sales-outstanding fell simply because invoicing stopped waiting for someone's Friday admin block.

Distributor watching credit exposure

Outstanding and overdue amounts from Zoho Books show on each account, so reps see credit exposure before taking the next order — and collections tasks carry the full relationship context.

GST-clean billing from verified data

Paired with GSTIN verification in the CRM, invoices go out against the registered legal name every time. Input-credit disputes with customers dropped to almost none.
