Contacts and journeys, or deals and stages
Marketing automation platforms organise the world around contacts, tags and journeys. Sales CRMs organise it around deals, stages and activities. Neither is wrong, but they answer different questions, and the useful comparison is which question is costing you money. If your Monday meeting is about campaign performance, keep the first. If it is about which negotiations have gone quiet and who owes a buyer a call, the second shape will serve you far better.
Arabic and WhatsApp as first-class capabilities
Check whether chat is native on the contact record or arrives through a third-party connector with its own archive, and who keeps the history if the connector goes away. Check whether Arabic templates are a maintained library with right-to-left content rather than text pasted from a document. In a market where the working language of the desk is Arabic and the working channel is WhatsApp, these are not localisation details; they are the product.
How the bill behaves as the database grows
Compare the metering shape rather than any number: per contact, per seat or per feature tier. For an Egyptian business with years of enquiries stored, contact-metered pricing can mean paying to keep old data while seat-based pricing ties cost to the people selling. Check on your own plan how contacts are counted, what happens at a tier boundary, and whether an entry offer is a genuine free plan or a time-limited trial.
