Quick answer

Is HelloGrowthCRM right for ActiveCampaign Pricing?

Yes. HelloGrowthCRM gives ActiveCampaign Pricing a single system to capture every lead, automate follow-up across phone, WhatsApp, and email, prioritise leads with AI scoring, and forecast revenue — with calling and messaging built in instead of sold as add-ons.
  • Contact-based pricing: ActiveCampaign prices each plan for a number of contacts (its pricing page shows every plan card at 1,000 contacts) and the monthly price scales with list size, so the bill follows your audience rather than your headcount
  • Four plans at 1,000 contacts, billed yearly (USD, 21 Oct 2026 snapshot of activecampaign.com/pricing, read 22 Oct 2026): Starter US$15, Plus US$49, Pro US$79 and Enterprise US$145 per month, with 1, 1, 3 and 5 included users and 10,000, 10,000, 12,000 and 15,000 email sends a month
  • Billed yearly on the price card: the plan cards on activecampaign.com/pricing say 'Billed yearly for 1,000 contacts', so the headline figure is an annual-commitment price, not a month-to-month price

ActiveCampaign is priced by how many contacts you store, not by how many people use it. It sells four plans (Starter, Plus, Pro and Enterprise), each quoted at 1,000 contacts and billed yearly, and its monthly price rises as your contact list grows. Its CRM features are an add-on. A per-user CRM charges for seats instead, so the comparison turns on one question: is your list large and your team small, or the other way round? The figures below are a 21 October 2026 snapshot of activecampaign.com/pricing, read on 22 October 2026.

Prices and limits above are at the 1,000-contact basis shown on the vendor's plan cards (USD, 21 October 2026 snapshot, read 22 October 2026). The vendor page also lists 500 AI credits on every plan, a 14-day free trial, a 30-day money-back guarantee and no setup fees.

02

What we could and could not verify

The snapshot was a rendered copy of the page. Every dollar figure above is USD per month, marked "Starts at", billed yearly, for 1,000 contacts. The page also offers BRL, CAD, AUD, EUR and GBP selectors, so a price in another currency may differ. Not shown on the page: a monthly-billing price, the price of the Pipelines and Sales engagement CRM add-ons, the price of SMS and WhatsApp add-ons, the price of extra seats, and any price at 25,000 contacts. We have not filled those gaps from memory.

03

How cost rises with contact count

The vendor page says plainly that monthly price scales with contact list size. Its contact selector runs from 1,000 up to more than 50,000 contacts, and its request forms list ten bands: under 500, 500 to 1,000, 1,000 to 2,500, 2,500 to 5,000, 5,000 to 10,000, 10,000 to 25,000, 25,000 to 50,000, 50,000 to 100,000, 100,000 to 250,000 and over 250,000. You move up a band when your list crosses a boundary, and the page says you can upgrade to the next band or plan without penalties. Two consequences are worth planning for. First, a list you keep growing through ads and lead forms makes your bill grow even if your sales team is the same size. Second, stored contacts count whether or not they engage, so cleaning out inactive records before renewal is the cheapest saving available on any contact-priced tool.

04

The CRM add-on, and why it matters for the total

ActiveCampaign began as email marketing automation and added CRM features on top. On the pricing page we read, enhanced CRM is available as an add-on from the Plus plan up (Starter lists no CRM add-on), and features such as lead scoring and win probability are marked as included in the add-on. The page describes "Enhanced CRM" as two add-ons, Pipelines and Sales engagement, sold separately, and shows no price for either. SMS and WhatsApp messaging are also separate add-ons. Ask for all of these in writing before you compare totals. If your team mainly sends campaigns and uses the pipeline lightly, that structure can make sense. If reps work deals, calls and WhatsApp threads all day, the CRM is the main product and you would be pricing the smaller half of the platform first.

05

Annual versus monthly billing

The plan cards read "Billed yearly for 1,000 contacts". That tells you the headline number is a yearly-commitment price. The page showed no monthly-billing price, so we cannot state the monthly premium. Our practical advice: ask which price is on your quote, and whether a mid-term move to a higher contact band is billed pro rata or at renewal. The vendor page says there are no setup costs, and offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

06

Worked example: same business, two pricing models

The numbers below are an illustration, not a quote. Assumptions: a 5-person team that sells by phone, WhatsApp and email, with a list of 1,000 contacts. On the ActiveCampaign snapshot the plan that includes five seats is Enterprise at US$145 a month (1,000 contacts, billed yearly). Plus (US$49) includes 1 seat and Pro (US$79) includes 3, so a 5-person team on those plans would need extra seats, and the price of extra seats was not shown. The price of the Pipelines and Sales engagement CRM add-ons was also not shown, so a real ActiveCampaign total with a CRM will be higher than the figures here. For HelloGrowthCRM we use the published US$12 per user per month.

Scenario (5 users)ActiveCampaign (contact-priced, USD, billed yearly)HelloGrowthCRM (per user)
5 users, 1,000 contactsEnterprise US$145/month (5 seats), before any CRM add-on, whose price was not shown5 x US$12 = US$60/month
1 user, 1,000 contactsPlus US$49/month (1 seat)1 x US$12 = US$12/month
3 users, 1,000 contactsPro US$79/month (3 seats)3 x US$12 = US$36/month
5 users, 25,000 contactsHigher contact band; the 25,000-contact price was not shown on the snapshotUnchanged: 5 x US$12 = US$60/month
5 users, IndiaCurrency selector offers USD, BRL, CAD, AUD, EUR and GBP; no INR price seenRs 899 x 5 = Rs 4,495, plus 18% GST = Rs 5,304.10/month

Read the rows in order. With one user at 1,000 contacts, ActiveCampaign Plus (US$49) costs more than a single HelloGrowthCRM seat (US$12), but the two are different products, so the gap says little about value. The rows that matter for budgeting are the last two: at five users the HelloGrowthCRM bill is set by headcount, so growing from 1,000 to 25,000 contacts does not move it, while the ActiveCampaign bill moves with list size by an amount we could not read. If your real need is one marketer sending newsletters to a very large list, ActiveCampaign's model fits that job and a CRM does not replace it.

07

When a per-user CRM is the better fit

Choose by the work your team does. If most of your revenue comes from conversations (calls, WhatsApp chats, quotes and follow-ups), the tool should be built around the deal. A deals pipeline, a built-in dialer, WhatsApp automation on Meta's Cloud API and AI lead scoring are part of HelloGrowthCRM. You still get email automation and follow-up sequences, so a lead is not chased by email after it has replied. It is a CRM with an AI layer, not a dedicated newsletter platform, so very large broadcast programmes may still call for a specialist sender.

For a feature-by-feature view see HelloGrowthCRM vs ActiveCampaign, the ActiveCampaign alternative overview, or the ActiveCampaign alternatives list. If you have decided to move, the switch-from-ActiveCampaign guide covers exporting contacts and rebuilding sequences, and our own pricing page lists current plans. Sources and dates

ActiveCampaign plan names, USD prices (Starter $15, Plus $49, Pro $79, Enterprise $145 per month, billed yearly, 1,000 contacts), user and email-send limits, CRM add-on listing, contact selector and the scaling statement: activecampaign.com/pricing, 21 October 2026 snapshot, read 22 October 2026. Not shown there: monthly-billing price, CRM add-on prices, SMS and WhatsApp add-on prices, extra-seat prices and prices at higher contact counts. HelloGrowthCRM: Rs 899 per user per month plus 18% GST (India) and US$12 per user per month, from our pricing page. ActiveCampaign can reprice after the snapshot date, so ask for a written quote at your contact count before you commit to a yearly term.

What you get

Why teams choose HelloGrowthCRM

AI-powered CRM with the features you need to close more deals.

  • Contact-based pricing: ActiveCampaign prices each plan for a number of contacts (its pricing page shows every plan card at 1,000 contacts) and the monthly price scales with list size, so the bill follows your audience rather than your headcount.
  • Four plans at 1,000 contacts, billed yearly (USD, 21 Oct 2026 snapshot of activecampaign.com/pricing, read 22 Oct 2026): Starter US$15, Plus US$49, Pro US$79 and Enterprise US$145 per month, with 1, 1, 3 and 5 included users and 10,000, 10,000, 12,000 and 15,000 email sends a month.
  • Billed yearly on the price card: the plan cards on activecampaign.com/pricing say 'Billed yearly for 1,000 contacts', so the headline figure is an annual-commitment price, not a month-to-month price.
  • CRM is an add-on: the Pipelines enhanced CRM and Sales Engagement enhanced CRM are sold separately as add-ons from the Plus plan up (Starter has no CRM add-on), with no price shown on the page we read.
  • Contact bands: the vendor's own request forms list bands from under 500 up to over 250,000 contacts, and moving up a band changes the monthly price.
  • Per-user pricing in HelloGrowthCRM: Rs 899 per user per month plus 18% GST in India, US$12 per user per month elsewhere, so the cost follows the number of people using the CRM.
  • Email automation and follow-up sequences sit in the same CRM record as the deal, so a rep sees what a lead was sent before calling.
  • A built-in dialer with call logging attaches every call to the contact, without a separate telephony subscription to price.
  • WhatsApp runs on Meta's official Cloud API inside the CRM, which matters if your leads reply on WhatsApp more than on email.
  • AI lead scoring and a deals pipeline are part of the CRM itself, which is the part ActiveCampaign sells as an add-on.
