What large Indian organisations mean by this search
At enterprise scale in India the CRM question is almost never about the head office. It is about the two thousand people who are not in it. A manufacturer with a distributor network across eleven states, a lender with branches in tier-two cities, a hospital group with three hundred front desk staff and a services company with a field force that never sees a laptop are all asking the same thing: will this be used by the people furthest from the decision.
That reframes the evaluation. Depth of functionality is easy to buy and hard to deploy. The variables that actually determine whether a large Indian rollout succeeds are the number of seconds a field executive needs to log a visit on a mid-range Android phone over a patchy network, whether a branch employee can write notes in the language they think in, and whether regional managers get a report they trust enough to run their Monday review from.
