Close CRM costs $19, $49, $109 or $149 per user per month on monthly billing, and $9, $35, $99 or $139 on its annual toggle. Those are the Solo, Essentials, Growth and Scale prices on Close's own pricing page, read on 22 October 2026. Calls and texts are billed by usage on top of the seat, and the power dialer is not available below Growth. A five-person calling team on Growth therefore starts at $545 a month on monthly billing, before a single minute of calling is charged.

01

The Close bill has four parts

Close's pricing FAQ says pricing is based on seats for your team, actual usage for calling and SMS, and AI credits used by Chloe and other AI features. Treat the bill as four lines, because the headline seat price covers only the first.

  • Seats. The per-user plan price, which differs by tier and by billing toggle.
  • Usage. Calling minutes and SMS passed through at cost, plus phone numbers from about $1 a month.
  • AI credits. Each plan lists a monthly allowance per user, and the page says additional credits are available.
  • Add-ons. Call Assistant and additional organisations are priced separately.

The rest of this page prices each line and then adds them for real team sizes. The currency is shown only as a dollar sign and the page does not say whether tax is added, so everything below is in dollars as displayed, before tax.

02

Close plan prices: monthly billing versus the annual toggle

Close's page has a Monthly and an Annually toggle with a "save up to 50%" label. The first price below is the Monthly figure and the second is the Annually figure, both per user per month. The page does not say how often the annual price is charged, so we make no claim about whether it is one prepayment. Its FAQ says annual plans offer discounted pricing and that downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of the billing term, while monthly subscriptions can be changed or cancelled any time.

PlanMonthly billing, per user per monthAnnual toggle, per user per monthAI credits per user per monthCall recordings kept
Solo$19$950030 days
Essentials$49$351,00030 days
Growth$109$991,50090 days
Scale$149$1392,000Unlimited

Notice how uneven the annual saving is. Solo drops by $10 (about 53%), Essentials by $14 (about 29%), and Growth and Scale by only $10 each (about 9% and 7%). The "up to 50%" headline describes Solo only. For the tiers a calling team actually needs, annual billing takes roughly 7% to 29% off, which is worth knowing before you lock in a year.

03

Where the dialers sit: the tier you need for calling

Calling is built into Essentials and above, but automation of the dialing is not. Reading the plan cards and the Calling and SMS comparison on Close's page:

Solo and Essentials: calling and SMS, no dialer

Close's plan summary says Solo has calling, email and SMS built in, and the Essentials card lists built-in forms, email, calling and SMS. Neither card lists the power dialer or bulk email, and both say workflows are not included. Solo is limited to 1 user and 10k leads. Essentials removes the lead limit and adds team collaboration, so a rep still places each call by hand from a lead page or an inbox.

Growth: power dialer arrives

Growth adds automated workflows, Chloe, the name Close gives its AI features, in workflows, the power dialer, custom activities and bulk email. Close describes the power dialer as calling through a list of contacts automatically without touching the keyboard or mouse. Going from Essentials to Growth adds $60 per user per month on monthly billing and $64 on the annual toggle.

Scale: predictive dialer and coaching

Scale adds role-based access and permissions, lead visibility rules, the predictive dialer, unlimited call recording retention and live call coaching. Close describes the predictive dialer as dialing several numbers at once and connecting you when someone picks up. That is a high-volume outbound feature, and it costs $40 per user more than Growth on monthly billing.

The practical reading: if outbound calling is your core motion, the plan you are really shopping is Growth, not the $49 Essentials card. The price you will see on the invoice is $109 per user, not $49.

04

Calling and SMS usage on top of the seat

The pricing page states that calling and SMS usage is passed through at cost, that most outbound calls are around $0.02 a minute, and that phone numbers start at about $1 a month. The trial includes $5 of calling and enrichment credits. The page does not print a per-message SMS price or a rate card by destination, so an illustration has to stay inside what Close says.

Here is one such illustration, using only the $0.02 a minute figure and assuming every call is one of the "most outbound calls" it applies to. A rep who spends two hours a day on the phone across 22 working days talks for 2,640 minutes a month, which is about $52.80. Five such reps are about $264 a month and ten are about $528. Add roughly $1 a month per phone number. Your calls may be to destinations that cost more, so treat this as a floor for a US-style calling pattern, not a quote.

Two other notes from the page. Sending SMS to US numbers needs A2P 10DLC registration, and Close says SMS is supported in over a dozen countries, including the US, CA, GB and AU. And the Call Assistant add-on, which records, summarises and transcribes calls, is $50 per month per organisation plus $0.02 per minute. If you want AI call notes, add it to the model.

05

What 5 and 10 users pay on Close CRM

Seat cost only, per month, before usage, add-ons, extra AI credits and tax. The annual-toggle columns show the monthly equivalent. Solo is excluded because it is limited to 1 user.

Plan5 users, monthly billing5 users, annual toggle10 users, monthly billing10 users, annual toggle
Essentials$245 per month$175 per month$490 per month$350 per month
Growth (power dialer)$545 per month$495 per month$1,090 per month$990 per month
Scale (predictive dialer)$745 per month$695 per month$1,490 per month$1,390 per month
HelloGrowthCRM (US$12, monthly billing)US$60 per monthNo annual USD price quoted; 12 x monthly is US$720 a yearUS$120 per monthNo annual USD price quoted; 12 x monthly is US$1,440 a year

For a five-person team that needs the power dialer, the seat comparison a calling team will actually make is Close Growth at $545 a month (monthly billing) or $495 (annual toggle) against US$60 on HelloGrowthCRM. That is a gap of $485 and $435 a month before Close's calling charges. Over a year it is $6,540 for Close Growth (12 x $545, monthly billing) against US$720 (12 x US$60).

06

How a flat seat with a built-in dialer differs

HelloGrowthCRM lists at US$12 per user per month in dollars and Rs 899 per user per month plus 18% GST in India, and a Free plan is available. The CRM dialer is part of the paid seat rather than a separate tier, and the power dialer page describes list-based calling sessions with outcomes logged automatically, offered where enabled on your plan. The surrounding pieces are call recording, native calling, AI lead scoring to order a call list, and WhatsApp on Meta's official Cloud API for the follow-up when someone does not pick up.

Calling charges still exist on our side: they depend on the calling setup and the telephony or mobile provider you connect, so ask what your region costs before you compare it with Close's $0.02 a minute. Close's Scale predictive dialer and live coaching are specific features, and we are not claiming a like-for-like match for them. Compare the call-handling steps your reps actually use.

07

Questions that decide whether Close pays for itself

Do your reps need to dial a list in a row? If yes, price Growth, not Essentials. How many minutes will each rep talk? Multiply by the per-minute figure for the countries you call. Do you text US numbers? Budget time for A2P 10DLC registration. Will anyone use AI notes on calls? Add the Call Assistant fee. Whatever that adds up to, divide by seats to get your true cost per user, and set it beside the same sum for any alternative.

Teams that run on Close's calling depth and want the Scale predictive dialer may reasonably accept the price. Teams that mostly need pipeline, follow-up and a dialer for a modest call volume are the ones for whom the Growth step is the budget decision. If you are already deciding, our Close versus HelloGrowthCRM cost calculator lets you enter your own team size.
