Why Indore admissions run on a different clock
The round, not the month, is the unit of time
For most professional and technical programmes in Madhya Pradesh, admissions move in counselling rounds with published cut-offs, followed by the college level counselling window where the remaining seats are filled directly. That structure changes everything about follow-up. An applicant is not simply hot or cold. They are waiting on an allotment, or they have been allotted elsewhere and are wavering, or they are free to take a direct admission today. A pipeline that cannot express that difference produces call lists that waste the only week that matters.
Where the students come from
Indore draws heavily from its own belt and from the towns around it. Ujjain, Dewas, Dhar, Khargone, Ratlam and Mandsaur send steady numbers, and there is a long tail from smaller places across Malwa and Nimar. Campuses spread along the Rau bypass, the Agra Bombay Road stretch, Rajendra Nagar and towards Pithampur, which means that for a family arriving by bus, the question of where the campus actually is and how a student would get to it every day is a live one. Hostel availability is often the real decision point rather than the fee.
