How to set up email deliverability (SPF/DKIM) in HelloGrowthCRM

Configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to maximize email deliverability. Step-by-step for Gmail, Outlook, custom domains.

If your emails go to spam, nothing else matters. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC prove your emails are legitimate.

  • DNS access for sending domain
  • 20 minutes
  • 24-48 hours for DNS propagation
  • Pro tier or above for DMARC monitoring

    Open Settings → Email → Deliverability

    Three setup cards: SPF, DKIM, DMARC.

    Configure SPF

    Add v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com include:hellogrowthcrm.com ~all as TXT record.

    Configure DKIM

    We generate key. Add 2-3 CNAME records.

  4. 4

    Configure DMARC

    Add DMARC TXT. p=none monitoring; upgrade to p=quarantine then p=reject.

    Click Verify

    DNS lookup. 3 green checks. If red, troubleshoot.

    Test deliverability

    Send to Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo. Should arrive in inbox.

    Use deliverability monitor

    Daily report: domain reputation, spam-rate, complaint-rate.

    Set DMARC reports

    rua=mailto:dmarc@hellogrowthcrm.com sends reports to us. Daily digest.

    Add subdomain for outbound

    Send sales outbound from mail.yourdomain.com to protect main domain reputation.

    Warm new domains gradually

    50/day for 3 days → 100/day for 5 days → 200/day for 7 days → 500+/day.

SPF vs DKIM vs DMARC?

SPF = which servers can send. DKIM = signs each message. DMARC = what to do if SPF/DKIM fails.

Do I need all three?

Yes for modern deliverability.

How long DNS propagation?

1-24 hours typical. 48h worst case.

Apply to sequences too?

Yes — same rules.

Good sender score?

Sender Score 90+ excellent. <70 problematic.

Indian providers?

Same standards. Some stricter on domain age.
