A great pipeline review takes 30 minutes and surfaces 3-5 deals at risk. HelloGrowthCRM's dedicated review mode filters to what matters and uses AI to flag risk.

What you'll need

  • Manager or Owner role
  • Reps to set forecast tags before meeting
  • Weekly recurring meeting
  • About 30 minutes per meeting
  1. 1

    Schedule the meeting

Weekly recurring 30-min, same day/time (Mondays 10 AM typical).

  2. 2

    Reps prep their deals

30 min before, reps go to Pipeline → My Deals, set tags, update next steps.

  3. 3

    Open Reports → Pipeline Review

Manager opens dedicated review view. Default: Commit, then Best Case, then largest by amount.

  4. 4

    Review forecast vs target hero

Weighted, commit, best-case vs target. Color-coded.

  5. 5

    Walk through AI-flagged risk first

5 deals AI flagged as at-risk this week. Reasons shown.

  6. 6

Review commit deals one by one

Click into each. Discuss next step, decision maker, blockers. Update Next Step live.

  7. 7

    Review best-case as a group

Spot-check 2-3. Best case identifies upside without diving in.

  8. 8

    Surface deals needing help

Reps tag Help needed earlier in week. Allocate 2-3 min each.

  9. 9

    Update commit count

Snapshots at meeting time captured for end-of-quarter accuracy review.

  10. 10

    Send post-meeting summary

Click Email summary. Goes to all attendees with action items.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a pipeline review be?

30-45 min for 5-10 reps. With prep + AI risk panel, 30 enough.

Should reps attend each others' reviews?

Optional. Round-robin format = high learning, slower. Split = faster.

What if a rep doesn't prep?

Skip their deals; come back at end. Public consequences self-correct.

Can I record the review?

Yes via Google Meet or Zoom integration; recording attaches to meeting record.

Can reps see AI risk flags on their deals?

Yes. Lets them prep responses before the meeting.

How do snapshots help post-quarter?

Forecast vs Actual report shows snapshot trajectory vs final close. Reveals when quarter started slipping.
