Why Egyptian teams look for an alternative
Egyptian enquiry desks sit in an awkward middle. Volume is high enough that a lead-execution platform looks appropriate, but the team running it is usually twenty to fifty people whose supervisors already carry targets. Nobody is employed to maintain routing logic. So the platform is bought for its depth and then used at a fraction of it, while the two things that decide daily output, dialling and Arabic chat, are still being assembled around the edges.
Timing makes it sharper. Campaigns here are planned in weeks, not quarters. If the CRM is still in a discovery phase when the campaign starts, the first fortnight of enquiries gets worked on a spreadsheet, and those are precisely the enquiries that were worth the media spend. Teams start searching for an alternative at exactly that moment, and the search is usually specific: dialling, Arabic, and something that runs on Sunday.
