Competitor CRM
Competitor CRM
Two enterprise sales engagement platforms with very different post-2025 trajectories.
| Feature | Outreach | Salesloft | Winner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sequences and cadences | Mature sequencing with fine-grained step control and A/B testing | Equally mature cadences with a cleaner rep-facing view | |
| Dialer | Included with most packages | Reported as a separate add-on, around $300-$400 per user per year | |
| Conversation intelligence | Kaia for real-time call insights, sold as the Meet module | Conversations for recording, transcription, and coaching | |
| Deal management | Deal module for pipeline inspection and health scoring | Deals available on the Premier tier | |
| Forecasting | Forecast module built in-house | Clari-powered after the December 2025 merger, and stronger for it | |
| AI agents | Amplify AI agents on credit-based consumption | Rhythm turns buyer signals into prioritized rep actions | |
| Salesforce sync | Deep bi-directional sync with granular field mapping | Solid sync, slightly less configurable | |
| Ease of setup | Reported ease-of-setup scores trail Salesloft | Faster onboarding and lower reported implementation cost | |
| Admin complexity | More levers, which suits a dedicated RevOps admin | Simpler to administer, fewer places to misconfigure | |
| Email deliverability tooling | Strong sending controls, warm-up, and throttling | Good, but fewer controls for large sending volumes | |
| Reporting and analytics | Deeper native reporting across sequences and pipeline | Good reporting, and improving with the Clari data layer | |
| Buyer signal prioritization | Available through Amplify credits | Rhythm is the core of the product, not an add-on | |
| Integrations | Large marketplace with mature CRM and enrichment connectors | Comparable marketplace coverage | |
| Pricing transparency | No public pricing. Annual contracts only | No public pricing. Annual contracts only | |
| Entry cost and minimums | Reported $100-$160 per user per month, annual billing only | Reported from around $75-$100 per user per month on Essentials | |
| Total cost of ownership | Higher, with reported implementation from $20K to $50K | Lower, with reported implementation from $10K to $25K |

Which should you choose? Start with seat count and admin capacity. If you are a US mid-market team of 10 to 50 reps without a dedicated RevOps admin, Salesloft is usually the better call. Reported entry pricing starts lower, reported implementation lands in the $10K to $25K range rather than $20K to $50K, ease-of-setup scores are higher, and Rhythm gives reps a prioritized action list without much configuration. Budget for the dialer as a separate add-on, reported at roughly $300 to $400 per user per year, so it does not blindside you at signature. Choose Outreach if you have real RevOps muscle and volume to match. Reporting depth, sending controls, and Salesforce field mapping are better, and the dialer comes included. That depth costs more per seat and takes longer to stand up, so it pays off at 50-plus reps with an admin who owns the platform. One 2026-specific factor: the Clari and Salesloft merger closed in December 2025, and new deals increasingly bundle Clari forecasting. If forecasting is a board-level problem, that bundle is worth pricing out. If you already own Clari, ask what the combined contract looks like before renewing either separately.
Outreach wins on reporting depth, sending controls, Salesforce configurability, and an included dialer. Salesloft wins on entry price, setup speed, admin simplicity, buyer-signal prioritization, and Clari-backed forecasting. Mid-market teams without dedicated RevOps should shortlist Salesloft. Larger outbound organizations with an admin who owns the platform get more from Outreach. Neither publishes pricing, so negotiate seat price, platform fee, and implementation together, and never sign an auto-renewal without a written exit clause.
If neither Outreach nor Salesloft fully fits
Not every team needs an enterprise sales engagement platform. If you have fewer than ten reps and quotes in the $100-plus per seat range are hard to justify, HelloGrowthCRM is $12/user/month monthly or $10 annual, with a free forever plan. You get pipeline and lead management, a built-in dialer with call recording, AI lead scoring, email sequences, SMS and WhatsApp messaging, a landing page builder, invoicing, and mobile apps. To be clear about the limits: this is a CRM with sequences, not a full sales engagement platform. There is no conversation intelligence and no forecasting module. Growth Engine offers managed RevOps if you want help.
