How finance is sold in Egypt
The enquiry usually starts on a social page
An Egyptian finance enquiry rarely begins with an email. It begins with a comment or a message on a Facebook or Instagram page, a WhatsApp number shared in an ad, a call to a branch, or a referral from a merchant partner selling something on instalments. Volume can be very high and quality mixed, so the practical problem is not generating enquiries — it is answering them quickly in Arabic and separating the serious applicants from the browsers.
The middle of the file is paperwork, and the end is a payment schedule
Once a customer is interested, the work becomes document assembly: national ID, proof of income, statements, sometimes a guarantor. Then, unlike a one-off sale, the relationship continues as a schedule of instalments that has to be reminded and collected. A CRM that stops at the sale leaves the more valuable half of the lifecycle unmanaged.
