How wealth advice is sold in the Emirates
A mobile client base changes every assumption
The defining feature of a UAE advisory book is that clients arrive and leave. Contracts end, families relocate, a promotion moves someone to Riyadh or Singapore. A practice built on the assumption that a client acquired today is a client for fifteen years will lose a quarter of its relationships to geography alone, and most of those losses were visible months in advance to anyone recording contract dates.
Introductions run through workplaces and communities
New clients here come from colleagues, community groups, business councils and existing clients, rather than from advertising. One free zone business owner can introduce four people in a year. Recording who introduced whom is not a reporting nicety; it tells you which relationships deserve the seminar invitation and the personal call in January.
