Security contracts are lost in committees and won by persistence
A guarding contract is rarely decided by the person your BD officer met. The estate manager consults the committee, the committee waits for the AGM, the purchase officer wants three quotes, and the whole decision drifts for a quarter. Agencies follow up hard for two weeks, then move on, and the contract goes to whichever competitor happened to write in the week the committee finally sat. Meanwhile the agency's own renewals leak the same way in reverse: end dates arrive as surprises, and the incumbent walks into a renewal meeting where the client has already shopped.
Both problems are calendars, and calendars are what sequences keep.
