Odoo CRM Pricing: What You Will Actually Pay

Odoo does not sell CRM as a separate product. CRM is one app inside the Odoo suite, and the plans price access to the suite. The figures below come from odoo.com/pricing as rendered in US dollars. Odoo's page has a Yearly and a Monthly toggle. We read these figures from that toggle, because the page text is hard to extract cleanly. The table is the US dollar view. We could not confirm India-region prices or GST treatment, so confirm your own region on Odoo's page.

Odoo also lists a Light User price of US$8.90, and says a quote is required. The page does not state whether tax is added on top, so treat the figures as before tax until Odoo confirms otherwise. Prices read from odoo.com/pricing on 22 October 2026, from a rendered snapshot cached 21 October 2026.

Odoo says the discount is 20%, and the first-year prices are about 20% below the list prices as Odoo rounds them. The footnote says the discount is valid for 12 months, for initial users ordered. Two things follow. First, year two costs more than year one, so a multi-year budget should use the list prices, not the first-year figures. Second, users you add later may not receive the discount at all, because it applies to the initial users ordered.

The free plan is real. Odoo states one app for unlimited users, and its CRM page says your first app is always free. If all you need is a lead pipeline, you can run Odoo CRM without paying a licence fee. The limits matter, though. Odoo describes it as a single app, and says that if an app depends on other apps you get those free too. It also says that if you install Studio or add companies to your database, you will automatically switch to the Custom plan. A business that starts with CRM and then wants quotations, invoicing or inventory is adding apps, and added apps are what the Standard price pays for. The free tier is best read as a way to test the CRM app, not as a permanent answer for a team that will grow into other modules.

Odoo is sold in two editions. Community is the open source core, free to download, and you run and maintain it yourself. Enterprise is the licensed edition built on top of Community, and Odoo says you can switch between the two at any time. Enterprise can run on Odoo Online, on Odoo.sh or on your own server, and Odoo says Odoo Online and Odoo Enterprise (on-premise or Odoo.sh) are the same software, with only the hosting and infrastructure different. The Community edition has no per-user licence fee, but a free licence is not a free deployment: someone has to provide the server, apply security updates, take backups, and handle version upgrades. Odoo publishes no prices for any of that, and we have not guessed at them. Ask for quotes from your own IT team or from an implementation partner.

Odoo's pricing page is clear about what sits outside the plans. It lists Odoo.sh hosting, implementation services, in-app purchase credits (for example SMS and lead generation) and maintenance of custom code as excluded. For implementation, Odoo points smaller companies to Success Packs and companies with 50 or more employees to partners. For a small sales team the practical line items to budget for are:

• Implementation or setup help, either a Success Pack or a partner, quoted by Odoo or the partner.
• SMS and other credits you buy as you use them.
• Customisation work, and the cost of maintaining it after each version upgrade.
• Staff time spent learning a suite with many apps when the team uses only the CRM.
• Tax, if it is charged on top of the displayed price for your invoice. We could not confirm GST treatment.

The figures above are the US dollar view of Odoo's pricing page. We could not confirm India-region prices or GST treatment, and we do not convert dollars to rupees here, because a conversion would not be an Odoo price. Our own price is Rs 899 per user per month plus 18% GST in India, and US$12 per user per month in US dollars, and a Free plan is available. HelloGrowthCRM is a CRM with an AI layer, a built-in dialer and WhatsApp on Meta's official Cloud API. It is not an ERP, so it has no manufacturing, inventory or accounting. That scope difference is the whole comparison, so the table lines up the licence lines only. The table uses ten users and the US dollar figures read above.

In India the same ten users on HelloGrowthCRM cost Rs 8,990 per month plus 18% GST. If you will use accounting, inventory or manufacturing, Odoo's price buys software we do not offer. For a sales team, the question is what each product needs around the CRM. HelloGrowthCRM includes the built-in dialer, the WhatsApp inbox on Meta's Cloud API, and AI lead scoring in the product, and produces quotes with tax lines and GST invoices from the deal (see GST billing). With Odoo you should check, app by app, which of those you need and which module or partner supplies each.

Choose Odoo when you want one system across sales, inventory, purchasing, accounting and manufacturing, and you have a partner or an in-house team to implement it. Choose a flat-priced sales CRM when the problem is leads going cold, calls not being logged and WhatsApp chats living on personal phones, and you want to be working this week rather than after an implementation project.
