How WhatsApp CRM pricing actually works: two separate costs
Most buyers get confused because a WhatsApp CRM has two cost components that are independent of each other: the CRM platform licence, and Meta's WhatsApp Business API conversation fees. The CRM platform fee — like HelloGrowthCRM's Rs.899/user/month — covers all the pipeline, automation, reporting, and team management features. The Meta API fee is what you pay for WhatsApp message delivery; it is set by Meta, not by your CRM vendor.
Understanding this split is critical because some tools like Wati and Interakt add their own per-message markup on top of Meta's rates, inflating your WhatsApp messaging costs through a third-party reseller margin. HelloGrowthCRM does not add this markup — you pay Meta's standard rates directly. This distinction becomes financially significant at higher message volumes: at 2,000 messages per month, a Rs.0.60 markup adds Rs.1,200 to your bill — more than an entire HelloGrowthCRM user licence.
