How facility management work is actually won in Egypt
Developers and committees open most doors
A great deal of Egyptian facility work follows construction. A developer hands over a compound in New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed or one of the newer capital districts, and the first contract is usually awarded through that relationship. After the first term, a homeowners committee takes over and the contract behaves very differently, judged on complaints, landscaping appearance and responsiveness rather than on the original tender.
Commercial clients buy on documentation and price
Malls, hotels, hospitals and banks buy through purchasing departments with longer approval chains and stricter documentation. The same company therefore sells into two entirely different rhythms, and a single undifferentiated prospect list flattens both into one follow-up cadence.
