How finance is sold in Nigeria
Social reach, agent networks, and a phone number
Nigerian finance enquiries arrive from Instagram and Facebook pages, WhatsApp numbers advertised on flyers and radio, agent and cooperative networks, employers running staff schemes, and word of mouth. Volume is rarely the constraint. The constraint is response: an enquiry that is not answered the same day is usually gone, and the customer who does answer expects a conversation in chat rather than a formal email exchange.
Trust is built through verification, and revenue arrives through repayment
Approval depends on verifying who someone is, where their income comes from, and who will stand behind them. That work is administrative, sequential and easy to lose track of. Afterwards, the relationship is a schedule: instalments, premiums or contributions that need reminding before they are missed rather than chasing after.
