How SaaS actually sells in Egypt
One enthusiast, several approvers, and a long quiet middle
The person who requests the demo is rarely the person who decides. A department head is convinced quickly, then the proposal moves to a general manager, and often to an owner or board member who has never spoken to your team. The middle of the deal is quiet, and reps read that silence as rejection. It usually is not. It is a document circulating without a champion attached to it.
Price is discussed openly, and terms matter as much as the number
Egyptian buyers negotiate directly, and the structure of payment frequently matters more than the headline figure. An instalment schedule or an advance arrangement can unlock a deal that a discount would not. That only works if the agreed terms are written on the record, because a verbal arrangement between a rep and a client becomes a dispute between finance and sales three months later.
