Overview
Blackboard is a learning management system, now under Anthology, used by higher education institutions and K-12 schools for course delivery, grading and student engagement tracking.
HelloGrowthCRM does not have a native Blackboard connector yet — it is on the education / lms list of planned integrations. That does not mean the two cannot work together today.
Blackboard offers REST APIs for institutional integrations, so a team with API access can use n8n or Make to sync enrolment and engagement data into HelloGrowthCRM's inbound webhook, or export Blackboard reports as CSV or Excel for bulk import.
What a Blackboard link would do
- A new course registration recorded in Blackboard creates a matching lead with the program and term attached.
- A student's declining login activity in Blackboard creates a task for an advisor to check in before drop-off.
- A completed course or certificate in Blackboard triggers a task to offer an upsell to the next program.

- Pick one matching key for Blackboard records — usually work email or phone — so an event updates the existing lead instead of creating a duplicate.
- Name an owner for the Blackboard connection: whoever set up the webhook or Zap should also be the person who notices when it stops.
