Overview
Canvas LMS is a cloud-based learning management system from Instructure used by schools, universities and corporate training teams worldwide to deliver courses, assignments, grades and discussions online.
HelloGrowthCRM does not have a native Canvas LMS connector yet — it is on the education / lms list of planned integrations. That does not mean the two cannot work together today.
Canvas exposes a REST API and supports outbound webhooks for course events, so a team can use n8n, Make or Zapier to sync enrolment and completion events into HelloGrowthCRM's inbound webhook, or export Canvas reports as CSV or Excel for bulk import.
What a Canvas LMS link would do
- A new student enrolment created in Canvas creates a matching lead or contact with the course and cohort attached.
- An assignment submission or grade posted in Canvas logs an activity entry on the matching student's timeline.
- A course completion event in Canvas triggers a task to offer the student the next course or program.
