How to evaluate a CRM for an Indian clinic
A clinic's commercial problems are specific: enquiries arrive by phone and WhatsApp all day, a meaningful share of booked appointments never show up, and patients who should return for reviews simply don't. The right tool is judged on four things.
The four criteria
One: does it capture every enquiry automatically — missed calls included — or does it rely on reception typing things in? Two: does it run reminder and recall sequences on WhatsApp without manual effort, since that is where no-show and revisit revenue lives? Three: can non-technical front-desk staff use it from day one? Four: does it respect the boundary with your EMR — you want a relationship layer that complements clinical software, not a half-baked replacement for it.
