The bridal order that generated eleven phone calls before it was collected
A family orders a bridal set nine weeks before the wedding. It is an important order, made partly by hand, and the family is anxious about it. Over the following weeks they call the showroom eleven times to ask how it is progressing.
Each call takes a salesperson off the floor, who then calls the workshop, waits, and calls the family back. Nobody has done anything wrong. The information simply lives with the karigar and reaches the customer only when they ask for it, which is why they keep asking.
