What large Indian organisations are actually buying here
It is almost never a request for a chat tool. By the time a group function goes looking, several departments have already bought something: the consumer brand runs campaigns through one vendor, collections uses another, the service desk has a third, and the customer record in the core system knows about none of it. The search is for consolidation and control, and specifically for a way to keep the speed the business units like while regaining the evidence trail that risk, legal and audit keep asking for.
The scale problems that do not exist at ten employees
Three things break as an organisation grows. Blast radius: one number shared across teams means one careless campaign narrows everyone else's sending capacity. Attribution: with regional teams, several languages and multiple campaigns running at once, conversation counts stop meaning anything and only pipeline linkage answers the board question. Evidence: two years later somebody will ask what was sent to a particular customer, under what consent, and whether the person who sent it was authorised. If the answer lives in a vendor dashboard nobody renewed, you have a problem that no amount of messaging volume compensates for.
