How a security agency calls today, and where contracts leak
A security business is a service delivered by people and sold by phone. The society secretary enquires about guards, the operations head surveys the site, rates are negotiated over several calls, deployment is coordinated by phone, complaints arrive by phone, and every month the invoice must be followed — by phone.
The leaks are chronic rather than dramatic. An enquiry lost to a faster rival. A rate agreed verbally and disputed at billing. A client whose small complaints were never heard until the termination letter arrived with sixty days of notice. And the permanent one: receivables aging because collection calls happen only when cash gets desperate, which is the worst possible moment to make them.
