How textile sales teams call today, and where enquiries leak
A fabric trader or garment manufacturer runs on the phone. Enquiries arrive from IndiaMART, the website, market references and old buyers, and each one starts a chain of calls: qualify the requirement, quote a rate, chase the decision, confirm the order, update on dispatch, then chase the payment.
The three leaks every textile desk recognises
The first leak is the enquiry answered once and never called again. The second is the sample: couriered at real cost, then never followed up, so nobody knows whether it was approved, rejected or still sitting on a buyer's table. The third is the rate quoted verbally that nobody wrote down, which resurfaces as a dispute when the order finally comes and cotton has moved.
None of these are effort problems. They are record problems: the calls happen, but nothing is written anywhere a second person can see.
