How a travel agency calls today, and where bookings evaporate
A travel sale is a long phone courtship: the enquiry callback, two or three itinerary discussions, the negotiation, the payment reminders, the document chases, the pre-departure briefing, and the midnight call from an airport when something goes wrong. The agency that handles all of this gracefully earns a family for a decade.
The failures are quiet. An Instagram enquiry called back two days late, after the client found a portal deal. A revised costing that contradicted the first one. A visa file delayed by one bank statement nobody chased. A deadline missed because it lived in a consultant's head during her week off.
