If your team already runs Mekari Jurnal or Talenta, start with Mekari Qontak. Customer, invoice and staff records line up without integration work, and there is no minimum user count, so a small team in Surabaya or Bandung can begin with two seats. If all you need is WhatsApp broadcasting, the Broadcast package at around Rp750.000 a month is the cheaper way to buy it. Choose Barantum if the telephone still does your closing. Insurance, property, education, lending and after-sales teams that dial all day get a real cloud call centre with IVR, recording and agent monitoring, and Barantum publishes its prices so you can budget before speaking to sales. Standard at Rp299.000 per user is competitive, but remember the three-user minimum and the one-year term, which make about Rp897.000 a month the honest entry number, plus implementation at roughly Rp2.000.000 a day. Here is a practical test. Count how many customer conversations start on WhatsApp and how many end on a call. Mostly chat points to Qontak. Heavy calling points to Barantum. Whichever you pick, budget separately for Meta's conversation charges. In Indonesia those fees often exceed the software subscription once broadcasting starts properly.
Barantum is the better buy for calling teams and for anyone who wants published prices, provided three users and a one-year term suit you. Mekari Qontak is the better buy for chat-led businesses, for very small teams, and for anyone already inside the Mekari ecosystem. Both are Jakarta based with Bahasa Indonesia support, both are official WhatsApp partners, and both bill Meta message fees on top of the subscription.
If neither Mekari Qontak nor Barantum fully fits
HelloGrowthCRM covers similar ground with simpler pricing. Two-way WhatsApp, a built-in auto-dialler with call recording, AI lead scoring, email sequences, pipeline management and invoicing, at $12 per user per month or $10 billed annually, with no minimum seat count and a free forever plan. Chat and dialling on one record is the part Indonesian teams usually stitch together from two vendors. Mobile apps are included, and optional managed RevOps help is available if you would rather have the pipeline and follow-up rules configured for you than build them yourself.
