How textile enquiries get worked today
A fabric business fields enquiries from everywhere at once: WhatsApp forwards of swatch photos, agents calling on behalf of garment units, portal leads asking rate per metre, and export merchandisers with tech packs. Most firms answer them in arrival order, which means the buyer who sent a four-line specification with a shipment window waits behind three rate-fishers who will never order. Meanwhile samples go out by courier and are followed up whenever someone remembers, which is usually after the buyer has approved a competitor's lab dip.
