Where salon leads come from, and where they leak
Salon demand arrives through the phone that rings during services, Instagram DMs after a reel of a colour transformation, walk-ins who try the door on a busy Saturday, WhatsApp messages with inspiration screenshots, referrals from happy regulars, and the seasonal wave of bridal and party enquiries that carries most of the year's high-ticket work.
The leak is the busy-hands problem. The receptionist is billing, the stylist is mid-balayage, and the phone rings out; nobody ever knows how much business called and left. The DM about bridal packages gets a price and no follow-up. The turned-away walk-in is apologised to and forgotten. Salons pay for visibility and then discard the demand it produces, one unanswered moment at a time.
