Connect Apollo, Hunter, Clearbit, ZoomInfo, Lusha & Snov.io to HelloGrowthCRM

Lead data enrichment from 6+ providers: firmographics, verified emails, and social profiles on CRM records.

Quick answer

Which provider should I pick?

Coverage differs by market: ZoomInfo is deepest on US enterprise, Apollo balances breadth and price for SMB prospecting, Hunter excels at email finding and verification. Test each against a sample of your real leads — your segment's hit rate matters more than feature lists.

Overview

Apollo, Hunter, and ZoomInfo answer the questions a bare email address can't: company, size, industry, role, and the direct-dial that turns research into a conversation. The enrichment integration runs those lookups automatically as leads enter HelloGrowthCRM, so reps open records that are already researched — firmographics filled, seniority visible, routing rules fed with real data instead of blanks.

Enrichment earns its cost twice: once in rep time (the ten minutes per lead spent googling), and again in routing and scoring quality — company size and industry are exactly the fields that decide which pipeline, which rep, and which priority a lead deserves, and they're exactly the fields web forms keep short to protect conversion. Enrich on arrival and short forms stop costing you data.

What data is involved

  • New leads enriched automatically on arrival via your connected provider (Apollo, Hunter, ZoomInfo).
  • Firmographics — company, size, industry, location — written to CRM fields.
  • Contact attributes — title, seniority, LinkedIn profile — added to the record.
  • Email verification status recorded where the provider supports it.
  • Enriched fields feeding lead scoring and routing rules immediately.
  • Manual re-enrichment available per record when data looks stale.

Best practices

  • Enrich before routing, not after — the routing rules are the biggest consumer of enriched fields.
  • Keep forms short deliberately and let enrichment backfill; asking for company size on the form costs conversions to collect worse data.
  • Set field precedence: user-provided values beat enriched values — the prospect knows their job title better than the database does.
  • Verify emails before sequences start; bounces from unverified enriched addresses damage your sender reputation.
  • Audit enrichment accuracy quarterly against a sample of closed deals — provider coverage varies sharply by geography and segment, especially outside the US.

Best for & common use cases

SDRs and AEs who need accurate titles, emails, and company firmographics before outreach.

  • Auto-fill gaps when a lead is created from a partial form or LinkedIn URL.

Expected outcomes

  • Faster lead handoff between tools and CRM owners
  • Cleaner activity history for follow-up and reporting
  • Lower manual copy-paste errors in the pipeline

Troubleshooting

  • Enrichment silently stopped: provider API credits exhausted — check the provider dashboard; the CRM logs the failed lookups for replay.
  • Wrong company matched: free-mail addresses (gmail.com) can't be matched by domain — provider matched on name and got it wrong; correct manually and prefer domain-bearing emails for B2B forms.
  • Titles look stale: enrichment databases lag job changes — treat title as a starting point and let reps overwrite; user-entered data should win on precedence.

FAQ

Governance

Treat API keys and webhooks as production secrets. Align field mapping with your privacy policy and regional regulations (GDPR, marketing consent, telemarketing rules). Your admin controls which roles can install or edit integrations.
