Where interior design leads come from, and where they leak
Studio demand clusters around property possession. It arrives as walk-ins to the experience centre, referrals from builder sales offices and architects, Instagram DMs after a project reel, WhatsApp messages carrying floor plans, exhibition conversations, and word of mouth from delivered homes whose owners show off the wardrobe detail at every dinner party.
The leaks track the same paths. The walk-in family is toured and forgotten. The builder referral goes to a founder's phone and stays there. The DM gets a price range and silence. The floor plan sits in a designer's chat when she resigns. Most expensively, nobody records possession dates, so the studio's outreach misses the six-week window in which a family actually hires, arriving instead with a polite call three months after the kitchen was awarded to someone faster.
