A property lead has six front doors, and most teams watch two
Ask a sales head where leads come from and you get a tidy list: portals and ads. Ask where enquiries actually appeared last Saturday and the truth sprawls — a WhatsApp message from a hoarding at 8 am, eleven walk-ins at the site office, four missed calls during those walk-ins, a channel partner's forwarded contact, portal mails piling into an inbox, and a Facebook form from a campaign that ran overnight. The leads are not scarce. The doors are just unmanned.
What goes missing is response time and context
Every unmanned door costs the same two things: the hours before someone responds, and the details the buyer already gave — budget, configuration, project — which get lost and asked again. Capture-at-source means the record is created at the moment of arrival, with the context attached and an agent assigned before the buyer has finished enquiring elsewhere.
