Recruitment leads are relationships, and relationships hide in phones
An agency's most valuable lead is a hiring manager saying we need three engineers by June — and it arrives as a two-minute call to whichever consultant that manager knows. The second most valuable is a placed candidate referring their new employer. Neither has a form, a tag or an inbox rule. In most agencies these leads live and die inside individual phones, and the agency's pipeline is really the sum of its consultants' memories. Capture-at-source is how the firm, not the phone book, comes to own the business.
Capture must be faster than a scribbled note
A consultant leaving an interview will not fill a long form. The mobile capture takes a brief in under a minute — company, role, headcount, CTC band, urgency — and the system adds the owner, the desk, the tasks and the visibility. Forwarded emails and shared WhatsApp do the same for enquiries that arrive in writing.
