HelloGrowthCRM is the only CRM that publicly documents its AI agent autonomy framework. Three levels, clearly defined safety rails, and every action logged. Deploy with confidence.

With approval = agent drafts/stages the action; human clicks confirm.
Acts end-to-end without human approval
The agent receives a trigger (new lead, call completed, deal stage changed) and executes the full action chain automatically — making calls, sending messages, updating CRM records, routing deals — all without waiting for a human to click confirm. Every action is logged and reversible within configured limits.
Best for:
Agents at this level:
Drafts and stages — human confirms before committing
The agent drafts the action, shows it to a human, and waits for approval before executing. For email, the rep sees the draft and clicks 'Send'. For CRM updates, the rep sees the change in a preview pane and clicks 'Apply'. The agent does 90% of the work; the human handles the last 10%.
Best for:
Agents at this level:
Recommends and surfaces — human decides and executes
The agent monitors signals, surfaces insights, and makes recommendations — but never takes action without the human explicitly choosing to execute. This is the safest level for customer-facing decisions where context, tone, and relationship knowledge still sit with the rep.

Regardless of autonomy level, every HelloGrowthCRM agent operates within a configurable safety envelope:
Most CRM vendors treat their AI decision-making as a black box. HelloGrowthCRM believes that sales teams should understand exactly what their AI agents will and will not do before deployment. Publishing the autonomy framework publicly means you can evaluate the product against your team's risk tolerance before signing up, and means the framework is held accountable to what is actually shipped. Transparency about AI autonomy is a prerequisite for trust.
Every HelloGrowthCRM agent maintains a full audit log of every action taken, including the trigger, the action performed, the CRM records affected, and the timestamp. CRM record updates made by autonomous agents can be rolled back within 24 hours from the audit log. Outbound calls and sent messages cannot be unsent, but the agent's daily action limits (configurable per agent) prevent runaway automation. If an agent hits an unexpected scenario, it alerts the admin via email or Slack rather than attempting to proceed.
Yes — the autonomy level is configured per agent, not globally. A common starting configuration is to run the Post-Call Agent and Lead Routing Agent at Fully Autonomous (since these are low-risk, high-volume tasks), run the Cold Outreach Agent at Supervised (human reviews drafts before sending), and run the Deal Risk Agent at Assistive (surface alerts, let reps decide next steps). You can change any agent's autonomy level at any time from the admin settings panel without affecting other agents.
Yes. HelloGrowthCRM ships a Sandbox Mode for every agent. In Sandbox Mode, the agent runs its full logic on dummy or anonymized pipeline data and generates a detailed report of what actions it would have taken and why — without affecting any real contacts, deals, or CRM records. This lets you validate agent behavior against your actual sales scenarios before enabling live execution.
You can mix and match levels per agent. Start conservative on new agents and promote them to higher autonomy as your team builds trust.
