Where fitness leads come from, and where they leak
A gym's funnel fills from the street and the phone: walk-ins asking for a tour, calls about fees and timings, Instagram DMs after a transformation reel, member referrals, corporate tie-up enquiries from nearby offices, and the permanent background hum of people who enquired months ago and never joined.
The leaks are moments, not months. The walk-in tours, hears the price, promises to think, and is never called again. The 7pm phone rings while the desk is processing three check-ins. The DM about student discounts waits until tomorrow, by which time the asker has DMed four gyms. Fitness motivation has a half-life measured in days, and every uncaptured enquiry decays at that rate.
